Our Audience
Get to Know Us
Elektra Nelson
She is an avid comic book fan. Loves Anime, comic cooks, graphic novels, and literature. She’s always up to date with all the latest news and comics and makes it a point to read the comic before seeing a movie. She is active within “fandoms” and has devoted a chunk of her time to comics. Her main concern is that the movies stay true to the comic and back stories of the characters.

Megan Stanmore
She’s a young college age student who loves to stay up to date with all the latest entertainment news. She always suggests going to the movies on dates because they’re a “good conversation starter and intimate.” She’s a communication major and likes to use the insights she gathers from movies to her advantage. She doesn’t necessarily follow comics but will go and see superhero movies. Her main concern with movies is that it looks aesthetically pleasing and makes her feel excited.

Luke Fitzgerald
Older man that works in finance. He is not a big movie-goer and doesn’t follow comics. The only time he ever goes to the movies is when he’s on a date with his fiance. When he goes to the movies he doesn’t try and get anything out of it, if he likes the movie that’s good but if not he doesn’t let it get to him.

Sponsoring A Scholarship For MIT
This part of the campaign should be implemented after the release of the movie*
Following the success and hype of the movie, Disney and Marvel should set up a scholarship for gifted students who come from low-income families or the foster system. It is significantly harder for students who are not encouraged or don’t have the resources to expand and push their limits and pursue an education within the technology and medicine field. Black Panther is the innovative and inspirational movie and this would align well with their values.

Partnership with Adidas
Surprisingly enough, there wasn't any partnership with a major shoe brand for this ground breaking movie. I believe that this is a missed opportunity. Adidas has such a large diverse consumer market. Such diversity and uniqueness also resonate in the movie.
Merchandise
It's no surprise that merchandise helps bring awareness about movies. Yet somehow Black Panther hasn’t had any merchandise in stores leading up to its successful debut. These stores could easily benefit from the record breaking success of Black Panther if they sold merchandise from the movie in their stores.
